Licking the spoon...

Remember when you made cake, cookies, or brownies with your mom and you got to lick the spoon. Well, my mom has taught my kids the "treat of the spoon". We made brownies today for Lucas to take to Cubbie tomorrow night and of course, they both wanted to lick the whisk. They would share and then fight over the whisk, but the best part was when Nora accidently got some on her shirt and Lucas said "I'm going to lick your shirt Nora!"

Take a second look....

Nora is wearing her cute swimsuit but also Lucas' underwear. Lucas declared a naked day and took off all his clothes. So Nora grabbed his underwear and put it on.

Chores???

We are trying to get Lucas into the habit of chores. We asked him and Nora to take the laundry out of the dryer and put it into a basket. This is the result we got.

Nora turned 2. What a day! We invited her little friend Ausia over to play and have lunch. Then we went to their God-parents' home for dinner and my first birthday cake that was in a form of a character. It turned out pretty good. As you can tell from the photos Nora likes Hello Kitty!
